Robert Lee Everett, of McAlester, died Thursday, April 11, 2013, at his home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church in Moore. Lunch will follow. Military graveside services will be at Rosehill Cemetery in Ardmore. Arrangements are under the direction of Advantage Funeral Home & Crematory of Oklahoma City.
He was born July 18, 1921, in Okmulgee.
Survivors include a sister, Dorothy McLure (Faught) and her husband, Kenneth Faught, of Ardmore; sister, Barbara Wilson and her husband, Jerry, of Midwest City; son, Charles Everett and his wife, April, of Kiowa; daughter, Tina Walls, of Catoosa; grandchildren, April Church and her husband, Brad, of Kiowa, Laurie Everett, of Tulsa, Kristi Ogden and husband, Buddy, of Claremore, Robert Hargrove and wife, Shelley, of Claremore, and Brandon Buckner and wife, Teri Lyn, of Broken Arrow; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Violet Boyd, of Oklahoma City, and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Everett, of Ardmore; his mother, Martha Everett, of Ardmore; sister, Imogene Holder, of Lubbock, Texas; brother, Clifford Everett, of Oklahoma City, and a daughter, Glenda Hargrove, of Tulsa.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Buckner, Bobby Hargrove, Brad Church, Buddy Ogden and Mike Kellogg.
