Melvina Sue Kemp, 59, of McAlester, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at her home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Chaney Harkins Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Blanco Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Chaney Harkins Funeral Home.
Born May 5, 1954, in Boswell, she was the daughter of Joe Martin Smith and Hazel Narcissa (Noahubbi) Smith.
She enjoyed playing solitaire, doing puzzles and word searches, and going for car rides out in the country.
She also enjoyed taking care of others.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Kemp; granddaughters, Twannah Kemp and Candace Kemp; sisters, Phyllis Folks, Priscilla Land, of McAlester, and Dawn Miller, of Ada; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Martin Kemp; brother, Edward Smith; niece, Michelle Smith, and nephew, Teddy Joe Smith.
Pallbearers will be Shaun Billy, Terry Powell, Roy Land, Gerald Peasha, Preston Miller, Ty Davis and Dustin Harder.
