McALESTER — Timothy Joe Heathcock, 49, of McAlester, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at his home.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester.

Born Oct. 11, 1963, in McAlester, he was the son of Paul Woodrow and Dorothy L. DeWees Heathcock. He attended school in McAlester and lived in the McAlester area most of his life.

He married Noella Kay Simoniski in 1985. He enjoyed working on vehicles and was a diesel mechanic for a number of years, working the last 12 years for Gerald’s Truck Service in McAlester.

He enjoyed being with family and grandchildren and playing dominos with his mother at a nursing center.

Survivors include his wife, Noella Heathcock, of the home; son, Dustin Lenardo, of McAlester; daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Aaron Richardson, of Indianola.

Also, grandchildren, Brooklyne Lefler, of Indianola, Karsyn Richardson, of Indianola, and Cole Richardson, of Indianola; his mother, Dorothy Heathcock, of McAlester.

And, brothers, Frankie Heathcock and wife, Texhoma, of Durant, Robert Heathcock and wife, Debbie, of Krebs, and Gerald Heathcock and wife, Marty, of McAlester; sisters,, Shirley Harrison and husband, Ernie, of Krebs, Jama Dungan and husband, Andy, of McAlester, Regina McCaurghtey, of McAlester, and Mary Page and husband, Frank, of McAlester, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul W. Heathcock, and two sisters, Vivian Pillerin and Irene Heathcock.

Paul G. Riggs

Paul G. Riggs, 74, of Checotah, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013.

Funeral services were Saturday at Lake Eufaula Christian Church in Eufaula. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Rosedale Cemetery in Ada. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory of Eufaula.
