Lynetta Renee Keith, 48, of McAlester, died Friday, March 29, 2013, in Tulsa.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at East Star Baptist Church in McAlester with the Rev. Jerry Maddox officiating. Burial will be at North Town Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home of McAlester.
Born Oct. 21, 1964, in McAlester, she was the daughter of JaQuetta and Howard Keith. She was the oldest of five children.
She was baptized at East Star Baptist Church at an early age under the pasturage of Pastor Knighton.
She graduated McAlester High School in 1982, with numerous outstanding awards and scholarships in basketball and track. She graduated Seminole Junior College with an associate’s degree in sociology.
Survivors include three sons, Brandon (Mari) Keith, Javen Springs and Deangelo Springs; one granddaughter, Railynn; grandmother, Aretha Riley.
Also, sister, Rosolyn (Hodgie) Keith; brother, Kevin Keith; aunt, Christine Johnson Keith; two great-aunts, Doretha T. Walker and Wilma Factory Phifer Green; two sisters-in-law, Marlene Keith and Misty Keith; special cousin, Tonya Johnson; special friends, Pam Collins, Joy Bumphus and Gary Cowan and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, JaQuetta and Howard Keith Jr.; brothers, Robert and Howard Keith III, and grandmother, Effie Parker Keith.
