Nannie Mae Rogers, died Monday, March 24, 2014, in Enid.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hudson-Phillips Chapel with the Rev. Russell Payne officiating. Burial will be at Holdenville Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home of Holdenville.
Born March 29, 1927, in Chillicothe, Texas, she was the daughter of Ted and Thelma (Hale) Ford. She married Cleo Rogers and they had three children.
She worked for many years at the McAlester Army Ammunition Depot iand there made several longtime friends. These ladies would enjoy hours of visiting playing cards, dominoes, bingo and other games. She also worked for Seamprufe in Holdenville for many years.
In later years, she enjoyed watching hummingbirds play and continued to enjoy board games.
Her biggest joy was her children and all her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Gerald Rogers and wife, Claudine, of Enid, Linda Rogers Barlow and husband, Lynn, of McAlester, and son, Phil Rogers, of Enid; grandchildren, Chad Rogers, Mike Rogers, Cameron Rogers Israel, Crystal Barlow and Pete Barlow; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Roy Don Ford, of McAlester; sister, Jackie White, of Dallas, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cleo; brother, J.W. Ford, and grandchild, Leslie Rogers.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Rogers, David Rogers, Marvin Rogers, Bud Rogers, Jimmy Rogers and Mike Goodson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Darrell Smith and Charles Coleman.
