Ehab Suleiman, M.D., 41, of McAlester, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at McAlester Regional Medical Center.
Memorial services will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at Chaney-Harkins Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home of McAlester.
Born March 9, 1971, in Saudi Arabia, he was the son of Said and Azizah Suleiman. He attended medical school in Jordan and was awarded a residency at the University of Chicago in Illinois. He completed his residency in 1999.
He met and later married Yolanda Tigno in 2003. They married in Jordan and in the Philippines.
In 2009, he moved his family to McAlester where he served as a hospitalist for the McAlester Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Yolanda Suleiman, of the home; two daughters, Yara and Nadiah; of the home; parents, Said and Azizah Suleiman, of Jordan; brothers, Ashraf Suleiman and Mohammad Suleiman, both of Jordan; sisters, Rania Suleiman and Rasha Suleiman, both of Jordan; father-in-law, Jamie Tigno, and mother-in-law, Bernardina Tigno, both of the home, and best friend, Moutasim Al-Shaer, M.D. of McAlester.
