Barbara Ann Barnett, 70, of Alderson, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at her home.
The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bishop Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Krebs with the Rev. David Stanfield and the Rev. Jerry Holloway officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester.
Born Jan. 15, 1944, in McAlester, she was the daughter of Robert Earl and Ruby Dee Threet Westbrook. She attended elementary schools in Carbon and then attended high school in Hartshorne. She attended a business school in Amarillo, Texas.
She was a manager for an apartment complex and was the district manager for Martin Air for about 20 years. She also opened Sally Beauty Supply in McAlester.
She married Frank Barnett on July 14, 1981, in McAlester.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Krebs for several years.
She enjoyed singing and being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Barnett, of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Ron Sloan, of McAlester; four sons and a daughter-in-law, Harold Hackler, of McAlester, Robert and Robin Hackler, of McAlester, Randy Hackler, of McAlester, and Ronnie Hackler, of Sevierville, Tenn.; stepdaughter and spouse, Kim and John Eaton, of Citrus Heights, Calif.; stepson, Dave Barnett, of Colorado; 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Lucille Barnett; two sisters, Ola Mae Bonham and Geneva Loflin, and two brothers, Henry Jarvis and James Westbrook.
