Norma Sue Slotta, 70, of Hartshorne, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at McAlester Regional Health Center.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Elmwood Cemetery with the Rev. Don Riley officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.
Born July 19, 1943, in Carbon, she was the daughter of Bill and Ella (Walker) Ryan. She married Paul Slotta on Dec. 31, 1959, in McAlester.
She loved her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids and also loved flowers. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Slotta, of the home; one daughter, Lisa Russell, of Hartshorne; two sons and daughter-in-law, Mike and Karen Slotta, of Higgins, and David Slotta, of McAlester.
Also, four grandsons; two granddaughters; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Pat Godosky, of Carbon; one brother, Ronald Gene Ryan, of Carbon, and one sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Theresa and Charlie Harrison, Marietta, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Ella Ryan; three brothers, Billy, John and Bob Ryan; one sister, Teddy Rose Brown; granddaughter, Kandi Russell, and son-in-law, John Russell.
