McALESTER — Plunkett Henry Schiller, 84, of Hartshorne, died Thursday. Aug. 22, 2013, in Hartshorne.

Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Monday at the Brumley-Mills Chapel in Hartshorne, with the Rev. Bob Davidson officiating. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Hartshorne. Funeral services are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.

He was born Oct. 6, 1928. in Waldron, Ark., to Frank and Frances (Cagle) Schiller. He married Fernon Clemons on July 7. 1951, in Van Buren, Ark. He was a lifelong rancher.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Feron (Clemons) Schiller in 1976; his parents, Frank and Frances (Cagle) Schiller; and brothers, James Mooney, Bob Schiller, Jack Schiller and Ed Schiller.

Survivors include children and spouses, Gerald Schiller, of Hartshorne; Donald and Darlene Schiller, of Ponca City; Charlie and Eva Schiller, of Hartshorne; Janet and Rodney Hugle, of Hartshorne; Pam and Lyle Burch, of Leoti, Kan., Denise and Rodney Kellogg, of Pittsburg, and Susan and Rusty Turman, of Hartshorne.

And 17 grandchildren, Amanda Burchfield, April Davis, Ashley Wilson, Jayme Hollis, Kristen Moore, Terri Smith, Gary Hugle, Casey Burch, Chris Burch, Candice Grissom, Taylor Kellogg, Kaylin Kellogg, Plunkett Turman, Russell “Whitey” Turman, Emily Turman, Jeremy DeFrange and Alisha DeFrange.

Additional survivors include 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill Schiller, of Hartshorne, and a sister, Pauline Holloway, of Hartshorne.

Active pallbearers are grandsons Gary Hugle, Casey Burch, Taylor Kellogg and Plunkett Turman.

Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Moore, Jim Strange, Roy Salyers, David Rudrow, Geary Smith, Mike Stetson, Jason Scott and Carl Goddard.
