Wayne Bryant

Wayne Bryant, 98, of Okemah, formerly of McAlester, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.

Born July 28, 1909, in McAlester, to Samuel and Nellie (Dudley) Bryant, he married Audie M. Johnson on Oct. 10, 1939, in McAlester. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Okemah.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, David and Theresa Bryant, of Seminole; two grandchildren and a spouse, Barry and Clarissa Bryant, Beau Bryant; three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Taygen and Tara, and one sister, Bonnie Stanford, of Albany, Ga.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; one brother; four sisters, and one infant brother.
