Judith Mae ‘Judy’ (Irvin) McCarroll
Judith Mae “Judy” (Irvin) McCarroll, 68, of Gowen, died Sunday, April 13, 2008, at her home.
Family will greet friends at Gowen Baptist Church following the services.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elmwood Cemetery Pavilion with the Rev. Kenneth Morrow officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.
Born June 10, 1939, in Hartshorne, she was the daughter of Roy and Edythe (Morris) Irvin. She married Ernie McCarroll on Oct. 25, 1977, at McAlester.
She worked for Jones Academy for 10 years and attended Gowen Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Larry James, of Alderson, Becky and John Barlow, of Gowen, and Shawna and Devan Hall, of Gowen; sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Cheryl Kitchell, of Hartshorne, Mike and Kristi Kitchell, of McAlester, and Ricky and Alina Kitchell, Douglasville, Pa.
Also, grandchildren, Heather and Wes Kirby, Brian Thornton, Rachael and Justin Bouska, Danny and Amy Jo Kitchell, Tyler Kitchell, Kara Williams, Janessa Kitchell, Taylor Kitchell, Jodi, Jackson, Molly and Annie Kitchell; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Erin Kirby, Emily and Preston Mattioda, Gage Williams and Addison Kitchell; special family members include mother-in-law, Gladys McCarroll; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and other family, Pee Wee, Carol, Roy, Suzie, Willie Guy, Berdie, Jean, Wanda, Bill, Jim Wayne, Paul and Charlotte McCarroll; sister-in-law and her children, Vannie Irvin, Tim and Cindy Irvin; special friends, Johnny and Helga Calvin, and numerous other friends and family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Edyth Irvin; husband, Ernie McCarroll, and brother, Jim Irvin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Devan Hall, Larry James, John Barlow, Wes Kirby, Justin Bouska, Brian Thornton, Taylor Kitchell, John Kyle Barlow, Danny Kitchell , Tyler Kitchell, and Jackson Kitchell.
