Sugar Skulls hosting mashup tonight
The Mac Town Sugar Skulls, McAlester’s women’s roller derby team, will make their hometown debut with the “Red, White and Bruised Mashup” tonight at 5 p.m. at Route 69 Roller Dome in McAlester.

Little League wins four state titles
The Pittsburg County Little League 12-and-under Majors team won a state championship and a berth in the Southwest Regional tournament Aug. 1-6 in Waco, Texas, and three other PCLL teams also won their divisions to wrap the most successful season in PCLL history.
