McAlester Summer Pride starts June 23
McAlester’s Summer Pride conditioning camp begins June 23 at Hook Eales Stadium in McAlester. There will be separate groups for boys in grades one through eight, boys in grades nine through 12 and girls in grades one through 12.
Camp will cost $100, which pays for 24 sessions. Each session will last an hour and a half, with the high school boys going from 6:30-8 a.m. each day and the girls and elementary school boys going from 8-9:30 a.m.
The camp will meet Monday through Thursday from June 23 until July 31 at the Hook Eales Stadium indoor facility. Breakfast will be served at the end of each session.
McAlester’s coaches will run Summer Pride. Sessions will include strength, speed, agility and flexibility training.

Power Volleyball Camp starts July 14
McAlester volleyball coach Sara Jones will run a Power Volleyball Camp for girls ages 6-12. Camp will run July 14-17 from 9-11:30 a.m. at Puterbaugh Middle School and will cost $50.
Campers should come with a water bottle, gym clothes, gym shoes and knee pads.

Parents can also bring registration forms and checks to the first day of camp.
