WILBURTON — No matter what the Wilburton Diggers did, they couldn’t stop Heavener’s Trevor Smith. From the post, in the lanes, at the three-point line — no matter Smith’s spot on the court, he just couldn’t miss.
With Smith scoring with such ease, the rest of the Wolves just had to play defense.
Smith scored 26 points, and Heavener’s ever-changing defense completely stalled Wilburton’s offense. The Wolves beat the Diggers on Friday at Wilburton, 36-29.
