New felony charges
The following new felony cases were filed in Pittsburg County District Court March 10-14.
Sunnie Nacole Barton, 23, of McAlester, was charged March 14 with uttering forged instrument.
David Shannon Loveall, 48, of McAlester, was charged March 14 with uttering forged instrument.
Jason Luker, 40, of Hartshorne, was charged March 14 with uttering forged instrument.
Billy Shaun Lindley, 43, of McAlester, was charged March 13 with obtaining cash or merchandise by bogus check or false pretenses.
Roderick Lee Miller, of McAlester, was charged March 13 with possession of controlled dangerous substance and misdemeanor obstructing officer.
Acamie Decole Moton, also known as Davis, 41, of McAlester, was charged March 13 with grand larceny.
Terry R. Ryan, 27, of McAlester, was charged March 13 with possession of controlled dangerous substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Aaron Ray Todd, 41, of McAlester, was charged March 13 with embezzlement.
Samantha J. McMillan, 27, of Pittsburg, was charged March 11 with possession of controlled dangerous substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jeffery Taylor Newport, 48, of McAlester, was charged March 11 with possession of controlled dangerous substance.
Devin Sizemore, 19, of Krebs, was charged March 11 with assault with a dangerous weapon.
Sizemore was also charged March 11 with larceny of automobile, knowingly concealing stolen property, bringing contraband drug into jail or penal institution, and misdemeanor possession of controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Randall W. Bridges, 28, of Kiowa, was charged March 10 with second-degree burglary and misdemeanor malicious injury to property valued at less than $1,000.
Harold D. Carshall, 59, of Haileyville, was charged March 10 with driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and misdemeanor driving with a suspended license
Tabatha Rene Dungan, 27, of Oklahoma City, was charged March 10 with possession of controlled dangerous substance.
Jennifer Lynn Kissee, 35, of Terlton, was charged March 10 with harboring runaway child.
Craig Scott Powell, 58, of Hartshorne, was charged March 10 with aggravated DUI alcohol and misdemeanor unsafe lane use.
Dixie Ray, 23, of Hartshorne, was charged March 10 with assault and battery on police officer and misdemeanor public intoxication.
Richard Michael Snow, 33, of McAlester, was charged March 10 with domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor.

Ex-Buff Fernandez reaches golf semifinal
Casey Fernandez, a senior at the University of Southern Mississippi and former golfer for the McAlester Buffaloes, made it all the way to the Oklahoma Golf Association’s State Amateur Championship semifinals before losing to Tulsa-Jenks golfer Preston Crawford on Wednesday at The Patriot Golf Course in Owasso.
Thomas key to McAlester disc golf growth
For Maceo Thomas, one of the founding members of the Eagle Hill Disc Golf Club, the 12 golfers who came out for Saturday's mini-tournament in Krebs is a welcome sign of how much disc golf has grown since the club formed in 2011.

Volleyball camp wraps in McAlester
McAlester’s road back to the championship-caliber volleyball teams of the mid-2000s could take multiple seasons, so new varsity coach Sara Reeder ran a four-day youth volleyball camp Monday through Thursday at Puterbaugh Middle School in McAlester.
Schedule released for Little League Regional
The schedule has been released for the Little League Southwestern Region tournament, which will have Pittsburg County Little League as its representative and runs Aug. 1-6 at Marvin Norcross Stadium in Waco, Texas.
The Firm wins men’s league tournament
The Firm won four games in a row following its opening-round loss, scoring more runs in each subsequent game to win the men’s league softball tournament Tuesday at the Pittsburg County Softball Complex in McAlester.
