Thunderfoot competes at Sooner State Regional

Wood, Spencer, Heffin, Clement and Carney all qualifed for the Winter Games.

In the 150- to 185-pound weight class, Carney took first in the “No Gi Grappling,” “Continuous Sparring” and “Sport MMA” categories, while Wood took second in the “No Gi Jiu-jitsu” category. In the 186-225 class, Heffin took first in “No Gi Jiu-jitsu” and “Sport MMA,” while Clement took second in “No Gi Grappling” and third in “Sport MMA.” In the 226-plus weight class, Spencer took first in “No Gi Jiu-jitsu” and “Sport MMA.”

The Winter Games begin Feb. 15 in Oklahoma City.
