PITTSBURG — Stringtown sophomore pitcher Alyssa Coffman didn’t strike out a single Pittsburg Lady Panther.
On a night when the Lady Tigers defense made every play, a lack of strikeouts didn’t matter one bit.
Coffman pitched a three-hit shutout, and the Lady Tigers played almost error-free defense to beat the Lady Panthers, 3-0, on Tuesday at Pittsburg.
Stringtown evened its record at 3-3 with the win. Pittsburg fell to 0-2 with the loss.
