McALESTER — As a three-year varsity linebacker, senior Jeremy Otis has seen several different versions of the McAlester Buffaloes. While the 2011 Buffs may have had a few more explosive skill-position players, the 2012 Buffs have had to rely on each other and the entire team concept to win.
That reliance, Otis said, has made this team tighter than in previous years.
“It’s like a brotherhood,” Otis said Wednesday. “We spend almost as much time with each other as we do with our family, so you kind of grow a bond.”
