Bowling Bulletin: Monday Housewives League still wide open

By Matt Goisman
Sports Writer

McALESTER — MONDAY HOUSEWIVES LEAGUE:

The third-ranked Rock-N-Rollers had a shot at the top two and they took it, beating second-ranked Haley’s Comets 3-1 in Week 28 last Monday. That put the two teams in a virtual second-place tie with identical 25-23 records.

The Comets hold a sizable 7,000-pin advantage over the Rock-N-Rollers, so the Comets get the tie-breaker. But with three weeks left until the position round and both teams trailing What’s A Strike by just two points, all three teams are still in the mix for a shot at the championship.

What’s A Strike and Haley’s Comets play each other tonight, while the Rock-N-Rollers play bottom-ranked Hits & Mrs. The Pin Busters, who trail the Rock-N-Rollers by just a point, play fifth-ranked Men-A-Paws.
