Bowling Bulletin: Fonzie’s Girls retakes Women’s City League

McALESTER — The league entered Week 24 on Tuesday with a new leader. Fonzie’s Girls went 4-0 against the bye in Week 23 to go to 20.5-7.5 and jump two spots in the standings.

That’s How We Roll and Strike a Pose dropped to second and third, respectively, with both teams falling to 20-8.

Fonzie’s Girls played bottom-ranked Y R We Here in Week 24 and will play sixth-ranked Aw Shucks on Tuesday. That’s How We Roll played Strike a Pose in Week 24 and will play fourth-ranked Tutti Frutti on Tuesday.

Heather Wood of Strike a Pose remains the best bowler in the league, with 11,830 pins. Billie Davis of Fonzie’s Girls ranks second with 11,442.
