McALESTER — As the son of a high school basketball coach, Jerrod McCormick has moved around a lot. He lived in Poteau until he was 7, spent a year in Duncan, spent five more in Ft. Gibson and finally moved to McAlester before his eighth grade year.
Ever since the first grade, basketball has remained a constant in McCormick’s life.
“I remember I used to have get up early and play, and I remember my dad would be watching me with some of his high school players,” McCormick said Friday.
