McALESTER — The McAlester Buffaloes started Saturday’s game shooting three-pointers. But as the Okmulgee Bulldogs started focusing on the outside shot, the Buffs decided to start attacking the paint.
It proved to be a most wise decision.
Darrion Brown scored 16 points operating out of the low post, and two more Buffs scored in double figures to help beat the Bulldogs, 67-57, on Saturday at Bob Brumley Gymnasium in McAlester.
The Buffs picked up their fourth win of the season, and their first home win.
