Though the Buffs may have had the better Ada Tournament, the Lady Buffs shined in Bartlesville on Monday, finishing runner-up and missing first by just one point. One-doubles team Amy and Key and two-doubles team Parker and Creager both won all their matches, and one-singles player Hixson took third.

The Buffs couldn’t field a full two-doubles team, and they didn’t place at Bartlesville. Borengasser finished runner-up in two-somg;e, winning both his first- and second-round matches, 6-0, 6-0.
Sistrunk finished third in one-singles, blanking his third-place match against Tahlequah, 6-0, 6-0.

The Buffs swept two baseball games against Durant, winning at home 2-1 on April 1 and in Durant 11-1 on Friday. They then split two Saturday games, losing to Byng 4-0 but beating Asher 6-4.
Monday’s home game against Coweta was postponed due to rain. The Buffs played Coweta on the road on Tuesday and next play in the Carl Albert Tournament in Tecumseh starting Thursday.
Buffs soccer lost 4-0 to Durant on April 1 and 11-1 to Coweta on Friday. Lady Buffs soccer lost 5-0 to Durant and 10-0 to Coweta.
McAlester’s soccer teams were at Tahlequah on Tuesday and next play Edison Prep at home on Friday.
McAlester hosted a fifth- and sixth-grade track meet on Tuesday. The varsity didn’t place at Friday’s Hilldale meet, and it next competes Thursday at Henryetta.
In golf, the Lady Buffs will be at a Tahlequah-hosted tournament at Cherokee Springs today. The Buffs next compete Monday at the Red River Invitational at Fort Sill Golf Club in Lawton.
