Canadian

Canadian wrapped up its regular season with a sweep on Feb. 11 against Dewar. The Cougars won 58-38, then the Lady Cougars won 58-47.

The Cougars and Lady Cougars start their Class 2A district tournaments Friday at Dale. The Lady Cougars play Wetumka at 6:30 p.m., then the Cougars play Wetumka at 8.

District championships against Dale start Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

Crowder

Crowder lost both games against Hanna on Feb. 11. The Demons lost 49-44, and the Demonettes lost 57-36.

Crowder also lost both a game against Savanna on Thursday, the Demons losing 60-56 and the Demonettes losing 68-22. Crowder played Tushka on Tuesday, losing 66-52. There was no score reported for the Demonettes.

The Demons and Demonettes start their Class 2A district tournaments Friday at Hartshorne. The Demonettes play Hartshorne at 6:30 p.m., then the Demons play Quinton at 8 p.m.

District championships start Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

Haileyville

Haileyville got swept by Pittsburg to wrap up the regular season Feb. 11. The Warriors lost 59-56, and the Lady Warriors lost 66-48.

The Warriors lost to Calvin in Friday’s District 3 Tournament, 79-75, ending their postseason, but the Lady Warriors beat Calvin 61-59, advancing to Saturday’s championship game against Stuart and automatically qualifying for Regionals. On Saturday, Haileyville’s girls lost to Stuart 71-43 in the District Championship at Stuart and next play in the first round of the regional consolation bracket today at Stuart.

Regionals continue Friday and Saturday at Kiowa.

Hartshorne

Hartshorne swept Talihina on Feb. 11, the Miners winning 53-51 and the Lady Miners winning 57-50. Hartshorne was then swept in Friday’s season finale against Pocola, the Miners losing 77-47 and the Lady Miners losing 52-45.

The Miners and Lady Miners start their Class 2A district tournaments at home on Friday. The Lady Miners play Crowder at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, then the Miners play either Crowder or Quinton in the championship at 8 p.m. on Saturday.

The girls’ district championship starts Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
