Bowling Bulletin: Position rounds shaping up

McALESTER — SENIOR MEN’S LEAGUE:

Team 4 just needed to show up and not completely implode on March 21 to pick up four points against the bye and clinch a top-two finish. Team 4 did both of those things, and with a 39-17 record, it can’t finish worse than second.

The Fire Balls headed into Thursday’s final week of competition in second with a 35.5-20.5 record — 3.5 points behind Team 4, and two points ahead of Ed’s Choice.

Ed’s Choice is the only team that can challenge the Fire Balls for the other spot in the position round before this week’s position round. The Fire Balls played last-place Team 2, while the Ed’s Choice played Team 4.
