McALESTER — The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association has announced locations for baseball and fastpitch softball districts from Classes B through 3A. All district tournaments are to be completed by Sept. 28.

In Class A baseball, Kiowa will head to Dale for the District 2 Tournament, with Stolewall also participating. Crowder and Vanoss will head to Roff for the District 4 Tournament.

In Class B baseball, Stuart will host Pittsburg and Tupelo in the District 10 Tournament. Indianola will host Varnum and Braggs in the District 11 Tournament.

In Class 3A fastpitch, Wilburton will host the District 30 Tournament against Coalgate. District tournaments are double elimination, so this will be a best-of-three series for a trip to Regionals.

In Class 2A fastpitch, Savanna has received a bye through District 18 and will automatically qualify for Regionals. Hartshorne will head to Wister for a best-of-three District 19 Tournament, and Crowder will head to Wewoka for a best-of-three District 32 Tournament.

In Class A fastpich, Haileyville and Clayton will head to Rattan for the District 17 Tournament. Kiowa will host the District 18 Tournament, with Canadian and Allen participating.

Quinton has been assigned to District 24 in Class A, the tournament taking place at Porum with Keota also playing.

In Class B fastpitch, Indianola will head to Moss for the District 25 Tournament, with Calvin also participating. Stuart will host the District 26 Tournament against Pittsburg.

In a three-team tournament, all three teams will play each other once. The finals will be determined in one of two ways:

1) If one team has no losses and another has one loss, those two teams will play each other in up to two championship games.

2) If all three teams have one loss, the two lower-seeded teams play each other, then the winner faces the top seed in a one-game championship.
