McALESTER — The preliminary round of the Pitt 8 Conference Tournament wrapped up with four more games on Tuesday at the Southeast Expo Center in McAlester. The Savanna Lady Bulldogs began the day by beating the Indianola Warriorettes, 56-32, and the Stuart Hornets followed the Lady Dawgs by beating the Pittsburg Panthers, 66-18.
The Canadian Lady Cougars finished the girls' first round with a 46-34 win against the Crowder Demonettes, and the Kiowa Cowboys rounded out the day with a 70-33 win against the Haileyville Warriors.
Kiowa and Stuart's boys' teams will face off in the winners' bracket semi-final on Thursday at 8:40 p.m., while Haileyville and Pittsburg will face each other in the losers' bracket semi-final on Friday at 5:50 p.m.
On the girls' side, Savanna and Canadian will face off at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday, while Crowder and Indianola will face off on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
