The Cougars went 3-0 in their first week of baseball. They beat Atoka 15-7 on Thursday, Indianola 13-2 on Friday and Quinton 10-8 in extra innings on Monday.
Canadian’s next baseball game will be Thursday at home against Quinton.
Canadian’s slowpitch softball team began its season Monday, losing both games of a three-way with Indianola and Crowder. The Lady Cougars lost 13-1 to Indianola and 14-1 to Crowder.
The Lady Cougars played Stuart on Tuesday and next play Pittsburg on Thursday.
The Demons’ baseball season began Tuesday against Hartshorne. The team next plays Thursday at Wilburton.
The Demonettes swept Monday’s slowpitch three-way, beating Indianola 16-15 and Canadian 14-1. The Demonettes played Panola on Tuesday and next play Clayton at home Thursday.
The Warriors’ baseball season began Tuesday against Savanna. They next play Friday at Indianola.

After two rainouts last week, the Miners began their baseball season with a 4-1 loss to Tushka on Monday. Hartshorne played Crowder on Tuesday and next plays Coalgate on Thursday.

The Warriors have started their baseball season 0-3. They lost to Canadian 13-2 and Wilburton 17-9 on Friday, then lost to Kiowa 8-0 on Monday.
The Warriorettes have started their slowpitch season 1-1. They beat Canadian 13-1 but lost to Quinton 16-15 on Monday.

The Cowboys set school records by reaching both the Class A basketball state semifinals and championships. They beat Fort Cobb-Broxton — a top-ranked and then-unbeaten team — 56-46 in the quarter-finals Thursday and Hollis 44-31 in the semifinals Friday before losing to Glencoe 57-39 in the championship Saturday.
