Pittsburg couldn’t play Indianola on Friday because of inclement weather. The Warriors lost Monday’s game against Canadian 59-47, but the Lady Panthers won 55-26.
Pittsburg wrapped its regular season Tuesday at home against Haileyville. The Panthers start their Class B district tournament Friday against Milburn at Wapanucka, and the Lady Panthers start theirs Saturday in the district championship.
With its Feb. 4 games against Kinta canceled due to inclement weather, Quinton instead played Broken Bow on Thursday. The Savages lost to Broken Bow 61-51, and the Lady Savages lost 47-22.
Quinton bounced back Friday by sweeping Panama, the Savages winning 60-47 and the Lady Savages winning 44-21. Quinton finished its week by splitting Monday’s games against Keota, the Savages losing 64-58 but the Lady Savages winning 52-28.
Quinton played Arkoma on Tuesday and finishes its regular season Friday at home against Howe. Quinton will be at Hartshorne for a Class 2A district tournament starting Feb. 21.
Savanna played just one game last week: a Feb. 4 game at Canadian, which the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs split. The Lady Bulldogs won 51-27, but the Bulldogs lost 52-43.
Savanna’s games against Crowder were postponed due to inclement weather. Savanna played Antlers on Tuesday and wraps up its season this Tuesday at home against Coalgate.
Savanna will be at Talihina for its Class 2A district tournament starting Feb. 21.
The Hornets and Lady Hornets have gone a combined 3-1 in the last week. The Hornets beat Tupelo 72-44 on Thursday, but then lost to Weleetka, the No. 4 team in Class A, 75-49 on Monday.
The Lady Hornets beat Tupelo 56-30 and Weleetka 46-35. They head to Districts on a five-game winning streak.
Stuart saw both its Feb. 4 games against Roff and Friday’s games against Haileyville canceled due to inclement weather.
The Hornets were ranked ninth in Class A as of Tuesday morning.
