McALESTER — Crowder seniors will again host a Donkey Basketball Game for their class fundraiser this year in the school gym.

The game consists of four teams: one is comprised of faculty members, their family and staff; another consists of seniors from Crowder; Team 3 has representatives from local businesses, and Team 4 is made up of alumni.

During three 10-minute quarters, Teams 1 and 2 will battle each other, followed by a game between Teams 3 and 4. After an intermission, a final game will pit the two winning teams against each other.

During the intermission, donkey rides will be offered for children at a cost of $1 per ride.

The game, co-sponsored by the Canadian Masonic Lodge of Indianola, is set for Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. Admission is $6 in advance or $8 at the door.

Advance tickets can be purchased from any Crowder senior or in the high school office.
