STUART — An odd contrast exists in the back-court of the District Champion Stuart Hornets. There’s Kaleb Wilson, the fiery, excitable and energetic freshman point guard.
And then there’s Sam Mitchell, the relaxed, composed, focused junior shooting guard. When someone has to reign Wilson in, Mitchell — one of the oldest players on the team — is usually the one to do it.
“I’ve always played that way,” Mitchell said Wednesday.
“It helps, having someone out there calm when everyone else sometimes gets out of control.”
