McALESTER — The 4th Annual Buffalo Run 5K/10K/1 Mile Fun Run is set for Saturday, April 12, at 8:30 a.m. This year the race will be hosted by Will Rogers Elementary School, Emerson Elementary School, Parker Intermediate School and Puterbaugh Middle School.
The race starts and ends in front of Will Rogers School.
Funds raised will allow the staff to purchase educational materials and technology equipment. Last year there were over 400 runners and walkers that participated.
This event is for the entire family. The 1 mile Fun Run will start at 8:30 a.m., and the 5K and 10K races will start at 9:00 a.m. in front of the school.
This is a sanctioned and certified run. Come cheer on your child in the 1 mile run or join in and run with them.
If you’re up for a bigger challenge, cheer for your child then run the 5K or 10K. Each participant will receive a goody bag, race T-shirt (while supplies last) and custom finisher medal.
Cross the finish line and you’ll feel like an Olympian receiving a medal around your neck.
