Commissioners receive bids

McALESTER —  

Two bids were received for ballot printing and the newly elected Pittsburg County 4-H officers presented a portrait to the Pittsburg County Commissioners during their regular meeting on Monday at the Pittsburg County Courthouse.
The bids, from Royal Printing and Midwest Printing, will be opened during next Monday’s meeting according to Cathy Thornton election board secretary.
 Also during the meeting, Greg Owen extension 4-H youth development educator for the Pittsburg County cooperative extension service along with the new slate of officers for the 2012-2013 4-H program year presented their portrait to the commissioners. The picture will be hung in the commissioners conference room, according to Judy Cunningham commission clerk.
Attending Monday’s meeting was District 2 Commissioner Kevin Smith, Chairman District 1 Commissioner Gene Rogers and District 3 Commissioner Ronnie Young.
Pittsburg County Commissioners meet every Monday at 9 a.m. in the county commissioner’s conference room at the Pittsburg County courthouse. The meetings are open to the public.
