McMurtrey, Harrel to wed

McALESTER — The couple will be united in marriage May 18 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Hartshorne.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Arnold and Wynema Johnson, of Ratliff City, and Johnny and Charlena Harrel, of Foster.

She is a graduate of Hartshorne High School and University of Oklahoma Health Science Center with a degree in radiation therapy. She is currently employed at Tulsa Cancer Institute.

The prospective groom is the son of Frankie and Traci McMurtrey, of Bache. He is the grandson of Anthony and Becky Nail, of Bache, and Frank and Carma McMurtrey, of Hartshorne.

He is a graduate of Hartshorne High School and Oklahoma State University with a degree in fire protection and safety engineering technology. He has accepted a position with Chevron-Phillips in Baytown, Texas.

The newlyweds will make their home in Humble, Texas, after a honeymoon in Jamaica.
