4th Annual Walk to Remember to be held Saturday

McALESTER — The Fourth Annual Walk to Remember will be held Saturday at the Kiowa School walking track and it’s not just a walk, it’s also a 5K run/walk, a one mile Fun-Run/Walk, a free carnival with live music, a silent auction and a “Trunk or Treat.”

All the events are free except for a $20 entry fee for the 5K run/walk and the one mile Fun-Run/Walk which includes a T-shirt.

The silent auction will include a guitar signed by Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson, Josh Turner, Susie McEntire and Blake Shelton and a Josh Heupel autographed OU football.

The Walk to Remember benefits the Carsyn Kay Hackler Fund set up in memory of Carsyn Kay Hackler who passed away at the age of seven.

“Since Carsyn’s passing on earth, we have started the memorial fund and God has given us the ability to bless many families using this fund,” said Britton Hackler mother of Carsyn.
