A McAlester man has been charged in connection with a stabbing incident at Arrowhead State Park, according to court documents.
Randall Brent Cook, 34, of McAlester was charged Tuesday in Pittsburg County District Court with felony assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in connection with the stabbing of Joshua Williams, court records state.
The incident occured Sundayat Arrowhead State Park after the two men allegdly got into an agrument, court records state.
Cook allegedly stabbed Williams with an unknown instrument, according to court records.
The Pittsburg County Sheriff’s department was called to the scene and Cook was arrested.
Williams was transported by medical helicopter to a Dallas hospital where he was listed in stable condition, according to the Pittsburg County Sheriff’s Department.
Cook is being held at the Pittsburg County Jail.
Meanwhile if convicted, Cook faces up to to 10 years in the penitiatary or one year in the county jail.
