Main Street Exec named top three in state

McALESTER — McAlester Main Street Association Executive Director Carol Ervin has been named as one of three top program managers in the State of Oklahoma.

 She will be recognized at the Oklahoma Main Street Awards Banquet will be held on April 24th at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.

Others making the top three this year include Lindy Chambers, Main Street Enid, Inc., Carol Ervin, McAlester Main Street Association, and Jayne Detten, Ponca City Main Street, according to a press release from Oklahoma Main Street. 

Ervin has been the director since March of 2011. 

Tickets for the event are $38 if purchased by April 9th and are available through the McAlester Main Street office. “This is a great event where you can check out projects in other towns and get ideas on projects for McAlester,” Ervin said.
