Two dead after wreck on Indian Nation Turnpike at exit 82

McALESTER — Two people are dead and several others including a two adults, a 14 month old child and a dog were injured after a single vehicle accident on the Indian Nation Turnpike in Ulan, officials said.



The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the Pittsburg County Sheriffs Department were at the scene.



Pittsburg County Sheriff Detective Tommy Lyons said two adults are confirmed dead in the afternoon accident involving a white pickup truck.



He said a 14-month old child and two adults were transported to local hospitals.



Lyons said the truck appeared to have rolled several times and came to rest on the north-bound Indian Nation Turnpike at exit 82 in Eulan



The identity of the victims has not yet been confirmed.
