McALESTER — A McAlester landlord who was recently charged with a felony in a case involving kidnapping of his tenants using police impersonators is being sued by his alleged victims.
In January Dusty Swing, 45, of McAlester was arrested after being charged with one felony count of conspiracy to commit a felony for allegedly conspiring and the planning, along with the alleged police impersonators Brian Garrison, Gary Mooney and Margie Wiliford for the kidnapping of three McAlester residents in December.
The plantiffs in the case Clint Nelson, Veronica Osburn , Amanda Sparks and Carol Nelson are seeking an amount in excess of $10,000, according to the lawsuit.
According to court records In late December Garrison allegedly came to the front door of 212 E. Van Buren Ave. residence, wearing a pistol and told the residents there was another man at the back door with shot gun, according to a Pittsburg County Sheriff’s affidavit.
