McAlester Electronics sale set at hospital

McALESTER — The McAlester Regional Health Center Auxiliary is hosting an electronics sale on Thursday and Friday to  raise funds for its two auxiliary scholarship programs.

Name brand electronics, from Wii and Xbox to laptops and flat screen TVs, will be sold.

The sale will be held from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day in the back of the hospital cafeteria and is open to the public. Checks and credit cards will be accepted, as well as d payroll deductions for hospital employees.

The auxiliary scholarship program is open to graduating seniors entering college who want to pursue a career in the health care field and to health care workers who want to further their education.

Scholarship applications can be downloaded from or picked up from volunteer coordinator Nancy Gates.
