Eastern Oklahoma State College’s Music Department will present its Fall Concert at 7 p.m. on Thursday, in Mitchell Auditorium.
“We are excited to present our Fall Concert, featuring Eastern's Concert Choir and Concert Band,” said first-year Director Dr. Brandon Hendrix.
“We would like to invite everyone from the surrounding communities to come and join us to see what our students have worked so hard to produce.”
The concert will include choir performances of “The Water is Wide,” “Long, Long Ago” and “Alleluia! Jubilate!”
The concert band will perform “Big Four March,” “Whither Must I Wander?” and a Canadian Folk Trilogy.
Hendrix will direct the performance, while Carissa Hendrix will serve as the accompanist. The concert is free and open to the public.
Eastern’s Concert Choir includes Dekayetlynn Wilson and Justin Humphreys, of Wilburton; Joshua Few, of Stigler; Lecie Murray, of Caney; Jesseca Shipman, of Kiowa; Matthew Little, of Clayton; Tyler Lauderdale, of Howe; and Jeremy Baker, of Yukon.
Students performing in the Concert Band include Dekayetlynn Wilson, Lacy Dunlap and Glen Kendrick, of Wilburton; Patricia Craig, of McAlester; Shirlene Green, of Hartshorne; Matthew Little, of Clayton; and Kevin Anderson, of Norman.
