McALESTER — “I’m the victim,” said landlord Dusty Swing who was recently charged with a felony in a recent case of police impersonation.
Swing said he is a construction worker who likes to by junk properties and fix them up to turn them into rentals.
Swing, 45, of McAlester was charged with one felony count of conspiracy to commit a felony for allegedly conspiring and the planning of a kidnapping of three McAlester residents. The charge alleges conspiracy with Brian Garrison, Gary Mooney and Margie Wiliford.
On Saturday, Dusty Swing and his wife Sherry met with the McAlester-News.
On Dec.29 Garrison, Mooney and Wiliford were arrested and charged on several counts after impersonating police officers and currently in the Pittsburg County Jail with Garrison and Moody held on $150,000 bond and Wolliford held on $50,000 bond.
