Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the gang head to EOSC

McALESTER — The cartoon characters of Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the gang will come to life April 26-28 at Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton.

The EOSC Theatre Department will present “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” on April 26 and 27 at 7 p.m. and April 28 at 2 p.m.

All performances will be in the Mitchell Auditorium in Wilburton. Admission is $5 for the general public.

The musical is based on the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz with the book, music and lyrics by Clark M. Gesner.

The production will be directed by Sarah Klocke, EOSC theater director and instructor.

The iconic characters will be portrayed by current EOSC theater and music students and local high school seniors who will enter the theater program this fall.

The cast includes EOSC students Zach Olinger of Checotah as Charlie Brown; Rodney Morris of Forney, Texas, as Schroeder, and Sam Harley of Idabel as Linus. The cast also includes Wilburton High School students Hannah Truitt as Lucy, Clay Humphreys as Snoopy, Victoria Juarez as the Little Redheaded Girl and Panola High School student Anna Goad as Sally.
