CASA readies for annual Taste event

CASA of Southeast Oklahoma, Inc. is gearing up for the 16th annual Taste of McAlester on Oct. 20.

Taste of McAlester gives the community an opportunity to sample foods from the various area restaurants. Tasting starts at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to join the charitable event.

Contact the CASA office in McAlester and Eufaula for ticket information, or to donate auction items at 426-5779 or 918-689-9200. Auction items include something for everyone, from Gucci slippers to western art, to golfing accessories and Thomas Blackshear figurines. Restaurants are still signing up.
