Three hurt in accident near Krebs

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident east of Krebs on Friday.
Those injured included Latessa Forwoodson, 18, of Wilburton, said the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Following the accident, she was transported to the McAlester Regional Health Center where she was treated and released for trunk internal injuries, the highway patrol said.
Jutsin Joslin, 17, of Wilburton was transported to the McAlester Regional Health Center and then transferred to St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa, where he was listed in serious condition, according to the highway patrol.
Brynna Cook, 16, of Wilburton, another passenger in the car with Forwoodson and Joslin, was not injured, the highway patrol said.
The accident occurred at 12:02 p.m. on Friday on State Highway 31 two miles east of Krebs.
Forwoodson was westbound in a 2009 Dodge Charger on Adamson Road while Larry Brittain, 60, of Quinton, was northbound on State Highway 31 in a 2001 Ford pickup, the patrol said.
The accident occurred when the Dodge Charger failed to yield from a stop sign and collided with the Ford pickup, the highway patrol said.
Brittain was not injured, according to the highway patrol.
