Crowder junior high names top 2009 students

The eighth grade class of Crowder Public Schools has chosen the top students from the class of 2009.
The graduation ceremony for the eighth grade was at the Canadian gymnasium on May 15 at 7 p.m.
Tyler Hubbard, with a 4.0 GPA has been chosen as the valedictorian of his eighth grade class for Crowder Public Schools. He is the son of Greg and Melinda Hubbard. He is the grandson of Larry and Frankie Hubbard, of Crowder, and Larry and Carolyn Allen, of Indianola.
Hubbard plays baseball for Crowder Junior High. He is also a member of 4-H and the Crowder livestock booster club.
Hubbard attends the Northtown Church of Christ.
Hubbard enjoys riding his four wheeler, hunting, playing video games, and being outdoors.
Rachael RayAnn Wilson is Crowder Public School’s eighth grade salutatorian. She has maintained a 4.0 GPA and has attended Crowder Public Schools since the fifth grade.
Wilson’s hobbies are reading and running track.
Wilson plans to continue her education and graduate from Crowder. She hopes to attend college to fulfill her dream of becoming a veterinarian.
