Antlers woman hospitalized after mishap

An Antlers woman been hospitalized following a Friday collision with a link crane.
Lynne Gelhaus, 46, was transported to Lakeview Community Hospital in Eufaula and then to Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, said the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. She was listed in stable condition with trunk internal injuries, the highway patrol said.
The driver of the link crane involved in the accident, Johnny R. Dillard, 55, of Haileyville, was not injured, the highway patrol said.
The accident occurred at 8:27 a.m. on Monday a mile south of Canadian on U.S. Highway 69, the patrol said.
Gelhuas was northbound on the highway in a 2006 Honda, while Dillard was also heading north in the link crane, the highway patrol said.
The collision occurred when the Honda struck the link crane in the rear, the highway patrol said. Seat belts were equipped and in use in the Honda and the air bags in the car deployed, according to the highway patrol.
Trooper Mike Stafford of OHP Troop D Highway Patrol headquarters in Pittsburg County investigated the accident.
