A Crowder woman has been hospitalized following a single-vehicle accident.
Deborah Nohmer, 51, was transported by medical helicopter to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, where she was listed in fair condition with a head injury, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
The accident occurred around 8:20 p.m. on Saturday at Canadian Shores as Nohmer was westbound in 1989 GMC van on State Highway 113, the highway patrol said.
The van ran off the highway to the left, was overcorrected, and then ran off the highway to the right, according to the highway patrol.
The van overturned twice, coming to rest on its wheels, the highway patrol said. Nohmer was ejected approximately six feet from where the van came to rest, according to the highway patrol.
OHP trooper Jeremy Tolman investigated the accident, with assistance from the Pittsburg County Sheriff’s Department.
