Justice?

Editor:

What has happened to the judicial system in Pittsburg County? The idea that someone could abuse and inflict that kind of pain on a defenseless animal and walk away with no bond is a travesty to the citizens of Pittsburg County.

Deputy Tracy Parrott did his job. Judge Donita Wynn did her job, why can’t District Attorney Jim Bob Miller do his? This seems to happen time and time again around here and I am personally offended by their actions.

Released on his own recognizance on a motion by the state? Not an egregious case? The DA is not sure if he is related to the defendant? Come on now.

I am so glad “he intends” to file an application to revoke a previous deferred case — a case that he was just sentenced on in March. Probably the only reason he was sentenced was because Wynn was the presiding judge. But why is this person not in jail on an application to revoke a previous sentence instead of being released on his own recognizance on his second felony charge in eight months time?
