Crystal (Herandy) Stapp

Crystal (Herandy) Stapp, 38, of Krebs, died Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester .

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brumley-Mills Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Shann officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.

Born Oct. 1, 1971, in McAlester, she was the daughter of Elex Herandy and Sandra (Fruin/Herandy) Bloxham. She grew up in the McAlester area and married Clint Stapp on Nov. 29, 1994, in Hastings, Minn.

Because of work they lived in many different areas for several years, but the McAlester/Krebs area, where she had lived the past several years, was always home.

She enjoyed doing arts and crafts projects and had been baptized at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include husband, Clint Stapp, of Indianola; three children, Gaucho Herandy, Brieanna Stapp, and Steven Stapp, all of McAlester; mother and stepfather, Sandra Bloxham, of Krebs, and Paul Bloxham, of Blocker; father and stepmother, Elex and Gayle Herandy, of McAlester.

Also, two brothers, Jeremiah Bloxham and Amanda Tinker, of McAlester, and Coyt Mathew Herandy and Stephanie, of McAlester; one sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Gary Wade, of Savanna; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Goldie and Gene R. Stapp, of Canadian Shores.

And, sisters-in-law, Jeana Dodson, of Wagner, and B. J. Stapp, of Tahlequah; aunts and uncles, Lewis and Mary Herandy, of McAlester, George and Lena Herandy, of Krebs, William Herandy, of McAlester, Jimmy and Helena Berry, Fouke, Ark., Raylene Ardese, of Krebs, Rowena and Joe McElroy, of McAlester, Nina (Peppy) and Jimmy Pink, of Alderson, Rosemary Herandy, Parkland, Wash., and Cindy and Steve Andereck, Sheboygan, Wis.; grandmothers, Mable Herandy and Della Davis, of McAlester, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Luray Cecil; her grandparents, Ray and Luella Fruin, William “Bill” and Nina Mae Herandy, and Wayne Davis, and a sister, Elexis Desiree Herandy.

Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Bloxham, Steven McElroy, Brian Nail, Coyt Herandy, Gary Wade, Paul Bloxham, Kenneth Bloxham and Brett Ardese.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wade Nave, Bryce Davidson and Brent Smith.
